Flickr’s matthewg15 gets himself a new pair of tattooed spectacles.
Now, you know I love body modification as much as the next gal, but come on! There is a point where you can take a good thing too far. I give this guy some points for originality and individuality but, in my opinion, this is such a terrible idea. One would say I’m not one to talk since I also have something in my face that I wasn’t born with, but I will be able to take mine away when I grow tired of it. This guy is stuck with this for life and no t-shirt, pair of jeans or scarf is going to hide it.
It’s his body though and apparently he and his girlfriend are both quite happy with it, so who am I to judge? He’s certainly gotten a lot of attention from it though. From what I gather the news of his tattoo has gone pretty much viral here on the interwebs.

What is he going to do when he needs glasses? Or when that particular style of glasses goes out of style?
They just look so gross and odd to me… and I don’t mind tattoos… just not of accessories, I suppose.

The one thing I love about wearing glasses, is the option to also wear contacts so I am not bonded to just the look of being four eyed!
What if the style of glasses changes? It’s not like he can change his tat like I can just go to the store and buy new glasses. Maybe he is just much more brave than I am!

Wooow. Im at a loss for words on this one for sure. I don’t like it but I don’t have to wear it forever either. So I guess as long as he is happy..I wonder what it’s going to look like when he is really old..everything drops and sags.

Wow. I’ve had a piercing and I’ve got two tattoos (both easily hidden), but yeah, I think that kind of tattoo is something to think very long and hard about.
