Dead Like Me

Tonight we went biking again, we stayed out for about 40 minutes. The longest I’ve gone yet was 50 minutes and it was really hot out as well. It was somewhat cooler this evening because it was about to rain. This is a good thing because it’s cut the heat a little and finally I can sit in my own house or move more than an inch at a time without sweating!I sent some pics to my mother last night of me holding out a pair of my pants (which actually are quite loose now!!) and she said she could notice a difference in me since she saw me in May. She showed my dad and he called me to give me a “Keep up the good work!” talk this morning. That was nice :) I’d show you all the pics but umm no! I may be confident to talk about my diet but to post fatass, red faced, sweaty pics is a totally different story. I don’t think so!

This is my latest download addiction. After going through every episode of The Sopranos and many other shows, this is my latest… Dead Like Me. I’ve only seen the first two episodes so far but I’m already counting the minutes for the third. It’s about a young girl who dies and ends up becoming a Grim Reaper having to take people’s souls before they die. It’s different than the other shows I’ve been downloading, I can’t really explain how but just take my word for it that it’s good.

That pretty much sums it up. It’s funny, and slightly disturbing and dramatic. What I also like about it is that one of the stars in it is Jasmine Guy. If you’re asking who that is, shame on you! If you are anywhere near my age and grew up in North America you MUST remember a show called A Different World, which started out as a spinoff from The Cosby Show. Anyway she played a character called Whitley who was dating a guy named Dwayne Wayne played by Kadeem Hardison. I can still hear her in that high pitched, nasal, annoying voice yelling “DWAAAAAAYNE!!!“. Sorry, got a little sidetracked on memory lane there for a sec. So anyway, yeah I like this new show!

Tomorrow we’re going to be renting the car and the weather forecast says it’s going to rain, isn’t that typical? Just when I plan to finally go to a beach here, it’s gonna rain. Maybe I’ll try to talk the guys into driving to Germany to go to Wal-Mart instead. Aaah the things North American women in Europe will do to get to a Wal-Mart! Yeah, that’s right.. I like Wal-Mart, I am not ashamed!
