Hear That Banging?

That would be me… banging on death’s door.  I feel like my face is on fire, and someone injected way too much liquid into every opening in my head and it’s all coming gushing back out. Like… someone poured acid down my throat that magically turns into green goo upon reaching it’s destination.

Having a cold SUCKS.  Sure, colds are great when you are a kid and get the day off school… but I’m past that stage!  I don’t even get to enjoy it!

The banging could also be my new roomie from over at Recommended banging desperately on the door in hopes that someone will let her out before I give her my cold cooties.

You’re gonna stay here with me because I need someone to make me tea and listen to me whine while my husband is at work.   You can also tell me about all kinds of cool internet goodies I’ve been missing!

You see, that’s why I chose her for my bunk-mate for the week, because she knows about all the cool shit!

That, and because her layout kicks ass with the little pully thing!  You pull the ‘pull the string’ tab and her menu of links comes down.  I love it… and actually planned to use a theme like that when I first started with wordpress but I couldn’t figure the damn thing out.

See, she’s smarter than me too. One more reason to sneeze germs on her.

She’s also the person that started up the Rent My Blog Code of Conduct, which is VERY cool but I don’t take part in it because it would prevent me from charging obscene amounts for my rentals when I’m getting my ass kicked in the Battle of the Blogs.

She did a great post yesterday about Pandora, which you should probably go check out now while it’s on the front page.  I know how lazy all you bloggers can be, I think of you … really.

I learned about Pandora a while back and love it because I’m not much of a music buff (even though Xander calls me an idiot song savant because I can sing along with songs after only hearing them once).  Pandora is kind of idiot proof and helps me find music I like.

BUT there are tons of things I didn’t know about it!  There are all these bells and whistles and plugins and … and … and… I’m so going to set it all up once all the snot is removed from my skull and my brain starts working properly again.

Nothing stopping you though, you can go on over and visit her right now to learn about it and the oodles of other things she finds.

Seriously, I must love this chick (even though I didn’t ACTUALLY know she was a chick until I asked, thankfully… because I totally would have said HE through this whole post otherwise, don’t ask me why).  I must love her right, I wrote this whole post on half a brain!! (rather than the 3/4 I’m usually working with!)

OH and there’s more room in my house for her now too, I lost 2 lbs this week which takes me down to TWENTY FOUR (that’s 24, like the TV SHOW) lbs lost total so far.

Although it’s prob even less now, I’m sure I lost at least a pound of phlegm today! (Yes, I did say that as one last ditch effort to gross you out!)
