This week’s theme is Salty and this image is the first that came to my head.
It was my view from my towel at Hoek van Holland Strand (beach) here in the Netherlands. I took the photo the summer before last as I laid baking in the sun (and boy did I bake! Ouch!)
Just thinking about that salty sea air makes me wish away the next few months until Xander and I can hit the beach again. I can’t wait!

That is a really wide beach with some pretty white sand there. It will soon be starting.. the busy season here at the beach as well.

I love your photo of the ocean. It is great how you caught the sea gull looking like he’s taking off. I love the ocean and my upstairs bathroom is decorated in the ocean theme. Great salty idea and have a great weekend.
Lovely beach. We have just finished our summer here so the months ahead will not be beach weather, but I know it won’t be too long and the beach weather will be back again. Happy weekend.
