Kerstversiering is x-mas deco in Dutch… it’s a word I’ve been saying a lot over the last few days. I count the days until I can start decorating, and I even decorated my turtle tanks.
For the first time this year we got that cheesy snow stuff that you spray on the windows in Santa and snowman designs and shit. It’s not even on the windows yet and I’m already dreading the task of getting it off, but I figure it’ll give me the motivation I need to wash the windows. Not something I do as often as I probably should.
The only room that doesn’t have decorations up is the bedroom, not sure why… I guess because we never really have people in there and when people come around we close the door so we’d never be able to show it off. Plus, most of the time we are in there we’re sleeping!
Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season as much as me!
Hi Tammy,
I love your xmas deco’s:)
A real coincedence is that we have the same christmas blanket (you’ve got it hanging, i have it covering my couch) and almost the exact same fireplace!
I guess great minds think alike:)
Hugs,
Niki
OMG the living room looks soooo cozy. I love the fireplace. They really do make a room don’t they! I think they’re money well spent.
Happy Xmas!
I love the apartment, what a great job you guys have done. And the xmas deco looks very nice. Your place looks so different from the last time I was there good job. I love the heart shaped candle holder.
It looks lovely and cosy Tammy, love the new fire place. Hope you get “real” snow this year!
Wow, that’s gorgeous!
Wow, your house looks so beautiful and Christmas-y. You really have an eye for decorating. Love the new fireplace, too!
Wat mooi!! Echt! Absolutely beautiful! I wish I had all my decorations from home. But this year, it is just the tree and a few cheesy things around the house. With a 5 month old, it is too hard to find time!
Before you use the spray snow on your windows, spray some non-stick cooking spray on the glass. When you want to clean your windows, you’ll find that the snow will come off fairly easily.
Love your tree! I’ve been making those light bulb snowmen you have featured in your Christmas Crafts Projects photos… They’re brilliant, and a great way to reuse old light bulbs.
Yay you’ve decorated and the tree is really nice. Happy holidays!
