I took this photo ages ago after I bought the Holland Collection and just realized that I never did get around to blogging it!
The color is called Red Lights Ahead… Where? which is one of the colors that can be found in the box of minis. That’s why I’m holding the Seche Vite bottle rather than the actual color because the bottle was just too darn tiny.
The color has a somewhat orange tinge to it that I’m not sure shows up in the photo and it’s a very bright color. Nice for a summer day, I think, or if you are just looking to spice things up a bit.
For some reason whenever I paint my nails red I feel like my fingers look extra red. It could be all in my mind but it generally leads me to not leave the red colors on quite as long as others.
Hey Breigh. Yeah, I suppose it’s living here for a while and seeing the country from the inside that makes you realize how much more there is to NL than a few seedy streets in A’dam. But you do make a good point re: how outsiders think of this place. It was part of my image of Holland before I moved here too!
Great color, but it’s too bad anout the name. Did we really need another opportunity to celebrate the sex industry? For shame, I say!
Ah I don’t really see it that way. Regardless of what any of us think the Red Light District is one of the first things to come to mind when people think of the Netherlands. It goes without saying that it would be included in a Holland Collection :)
