Yesterday I received my large kit for the upcoming Ubuntu CAL from Scheepjes. This beautiful heirloom blanket is designed by Dedri from Look at What I Made, the designer of the ever popular Sophie’s Universe CAL.
This is only my second unboxing video and I seem to have a style. Meaning, no real method to my madness. It was recorded for our Facebook International Group where the CAL is being supported, and here is what I told them…
What to expect: Babbling, cute animals, awesome yarn, confusion, incoherent mutterings about things popping up on my screen that it turns out you couldn’t even see anyway, and a bit more babbling thrown in.
What not to expect: Professional video editing (or any at all, really), comprehensive math, constant video or mental focus.
Take it for what it is.
As my husband was watching the video, during the part where I was trying to count the balls, he looked at me and said “Awww honey, at least you can knit really well!”. haha
The reason we are doing unboxing videos is because Scheepjes has added three golden tickets to a small, medium and large kit which entitles the winner to create their own special Ubuntu edition colourway of the Our Tribe yarn line!
They will also get a free Studio Pack to help with their colour selection. Not only that, but they are holding back a fourth golden ticket, which they will award to one lucky unboxing video participant. So, as I said in the video, even if you open the box and aren’t a golden ticket winner – you can still be a golden ticket winner!
