I’m in a plane going somewhere with my parents. The seats are really comfortable, royal blue with a velvet feel to them. The plane is wider than usual and I am wondering if this is what first class is like. I tell myself that I’ll never fly back in the squishy seats again.
There is another family behind us, they have a son and when I put my seat back to sleep he starts talking to me. I think we were talking about music. Then we noticed the plane going downwards.. we were right above North Sydney harbour and the pilot told us the plane would probably come upright again. My parents and I were really afraid and were holding each other’s hands saying that we love each other. We were all sure we were going to die. Then I saw water out the windows. There was no crash or anything and the plane stayed together, I don’t think any water came in either. Suddenly the plane did turn upright and bobbed up to the top of the water and floated there.
Then I was asked to housesit for one of my old babysitters, Betty. She had a great big house that was a lot different than the one she actually lived in. A childhood friend was there as well, he kept typing something but I’m not sure what, maybe he was a writer. We talked a lot about old times and when we were kids. I thought how glad I was it was summer again and I could wear my comfy capri pants again.
A lot of people came over to Betty’s place. She had a really huge indoor pool. People were swimming and running around. Although the pool was indoors there was a ton of leaves floating around so I didn’t want to get in until the pool was clean. I looked for one of those nets to scoop them out and there were all kinds of different sizes. While I was trying to pull one of them out from the pile I kept almost falling in the pool. Tipping over farther than I would have been able to stop myself from falling in normally, but somehow I did.
These two guys got into a fight but I don’t know what about, one of the guys had a really huge nose so I assumed the other guy was making fun of him for it. I couldn’t stop looking at this guy’s nose, then one of the other guys yelled out and called him Sailboat, because his nose looked like a sail.
