I’m Seeing Pink!

Every so often I browse through the events that will be happening at the Ahoy here in Rotterdam, which is where most of the big shows take place.  It’s only about 5 minutes from my house and there are big concerts going on there all the time.  I’ve never been to any, although I did see Cirque du Soliel’s Dralion there and a few other non-musical shows.

During my search I noticed that Pink is going to be here for ONE show in December.  I LOVE PINK!  I know my friend Penny loves her too so I told her about it.   We’d just missed out on one of her shows in February because Penny was back in California visiting family, so we were kind of bummed.   When we saw she was going to do another show here, we were so excited!!

We were shocked when we’d seen how many of the tickets had been sold already.  I mean the concert isn’t for another 6 months, but the whole first seating area had been sold out so our only option was the uber expensive floor area or the nosebleed section.   The floor isn’t the best option for us, because I really hate squishy crowds and we live in the land of giants.  We were pretty sure we’d not see a thing, so we opted to get one of the front rows in the higher section.   I’m pretty sure we will still have a really great view!

The best part, Penny bought my ticket as an early birthday present!  I’m getting all my birthday pressies early this year it seems!   She said she’s been racking her brain trying to figure out what to get me for my birthday next month, and asked if I’d like it if she bought the ticket to go to the concert.

HELL YEAH I’D LIKE IT!

So, we’re going to see P!nk and we’re both totally stocked!  We’re gonna be rocking out, big time!
