Good grief! It was 36 degrees (celcius) in Holland today. I swear to god I lost a few pounds today just from sweating so much! Attractive huh? I bet you’re reading this now and thinking I’m just so damn sexy! Well whatever, I’m too hot to care right now. It should be illegal for countries without air conditioning to get this hot.So nothing exciting has happened in the past two days. Just lots of sitting around, downloading TV shows and watching them. I’m finally totally caught up on The Sopranos! Man, I love that show, I swear. I wasn’t too thrilled with them killing off Adriana! I mean ok so she wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but did she really have to DIE? She told Christopher that she didn’t give any info to the FBI, couldn’t they have just sent her far far away or something? I had to laugh when they were talking about leaving and Chris said “What would I do?” and Ade suggested male modelling and he says how he’s be a huge success. YEAH RIGHT! God, he’s one of the most unattractive men I’ve ever seen! Now, Furio on the other hand.. Hubba Hubba! WHY Carm didn’t sleep with him but DID sleep with that wiener of a principal I’ll never know. *sigh*
I’ve been good so far this week with the diet and walking etc. I’m going to have to get up earlier tomorrow to go walking though, it was ALREADY hot this morning at 6:00-6:30am once the sun came up. This will suck of course, because chances of me sleeping much this evening in this heat is slim. Oh well, I can just take tomorrow off and do my aerobics instead if it’s that bad. At least when I overheat then I can run straight into the shower!
Book Review – The Beach House by James Patterson & Peter De Jonge
I finished this book a few days ago. It was AWESOME! Basically what it’s about is these two brothers, Peter and Jack. Peter is the young and carefree kind of guy and Jack is the smart law student type. Peter is murdered in the beginning of the book while working at a really fancy party parking cars. His death is found to be accidental by drowning but Jack and the rest of the family believe that he was beaten to death. The book is about Jack and his family and friends working to prove that Peter was murdered (and why) while bringing down the wealthy people who were trying to hide it. I probably explained that really bad but that’s ok, you’ll see when you read it! *grins*
OH!! I figured out how to put a counter on here two days ago and I already have 35 hits! To anyone else that prob doesn’t sound like a lot, but to me it’s loads! I wonder who you are, the people reading this. Why are you reading it.. how did you find it? I’m so curious!! Some cool things have happened in the past few days though. I heard from two old friends that I had lost touch with since I moved to Holland. Which is great! I got an email from a guy I knew in Toronto (Chris)… He and I worked together when I was living there and were always laughing and raising a little hell. When I was still with Jimmy the fuckhead, he and I used to get together with chris and his girlfriend (now wife) Rhiannon. I MISS THEM! ARGH! I swear those two are worth moving back to Toronto for themselves, even without all the other great things about that place! Then I also heard from an Irish guy I used to talk to online a lot, an old friend of both me and Xander. His name is Brian and sadly I didn’t even remember him when we first spoke, I recognized his name but that was it. Gradually it started coming back to me though. Thank god he wasn’t offended! I swear my memory is sooooooo bad lately I’m actually thinking about asking the doc about it. I find myself saying “I don’t know, I don’t remember” far more often than I’d like. I wonder what causes memory problems…
Anyway, I’m so hot I could die… I’m going to hop in the shower… AGAIN!
