Broken Washer

Now if only I could magically lose weight, make money, fix household appliances, stop cat shedding, clean litter and a million other things, life would be good.ARGH!  My washer is broken! I swear to god, just my luck. *sigh* I finally start getting some money saved towards moving home and my washer breaks. It couldn’t just hold out until I leave and break on some other poor bastard, it has to break on me. Xander is going to buy some part tomorrow after work and try to fix it, otherwise we’ll have to take money out of what we saved towards moving and use that. I guess it will even out a little at the end though. If we have to buy a new one we’ll just sell it before we leave.

Oh my god, so today the weirdest thing happened. I was chatting online and having my morning cruise through Orkut when I got a message in my scrapbook from my new friend Gail. She told me I was in JAIL! For those who don’t visit Orkut, jail is like being banned. You can view the communities, etc but you can’t post or change anything. It’s SO annoying! Anyhow I’ve been in jail about 3 times in the last week and about 20 times since I started on Orkut in Feb! That’s a lot I think.. So we got to talking on MSN and we found a tidbit of gossip we both knew/agreed on. Next thing I know we’re on the phone for like EIGHT HOURS gabbing our heads off. It’s been so long since I had a real phone girl chat session, it felt great! We talked about everything under the sun and I learned some really interesting things about her that I never would have imagined. It was definately not a boring conversation by any means! Boy, will we pay for that with our phone bills! It was sooo worth it.

I started walking again this morning. I gained back 3 pounds during the week I wasn’t walking and had my cold. DRAT!! Oh well, I lost them once I can lose them again. I hope we don’t have to buy a new washer, because that also means my exercise bike also is out the window. I mean, do we REALLY need clean clothes that bad? Who cares if I smell, as long as I’m thinner!
