Exercisey?

Well I’m sitting here wrapped in my Toronto Blue Jays towel after the most dreamy shower ever. I swear there’s nothing that feels better than a shower just after doing something exercisey (Is exercisey a word?). It’s funny because my head gets so hot, when I get in the shower the water will be really nice and hot on my body but it feels cold on my face, because my cheeks are so hot. I wonder if that’s unhealthy somehow or if it’s normal. It sure feels weird though, the water being diff temps on diff parts of my body.Anyway, the exercisey thing I did was went on a bike ride with Xander. We figured it was time I really tested out the new saddle so we went for a lovely 40 minute bike ride around Rotterdam. My ass isn’t sore at all!! Other than getting tired, which is bound to happen, it was absolutely amazing. Oh, that and the bugs I kept eating.. Xander kept reminding me to breathe through my nose when we were riding through woody areas. *laugh*

We went to see Farenheit 9/11 yesterday at the old Cinerama theater here in Rotterdam. I love that theater because it has such a relaxing feeling. It’s so cozy and not all bright lights and tons of metal like the more modern theaters. They even have sofas and magazines for you to hang out while you wait for your movie to start. As for the movie itself. It was ok, Michael Moore gets on my nerves a bit, I mean he’s kind of a blow hard isn’t he? I find myself wondering how much truth there is to some of the things he says. I don’t doubt that Bush is a dumbass though, pretty sure he’s on the money about that. There was this one woman in the movie who annoyed the bejesus out of me though. The mother of this soldier who was killed in Iraq who was just all about the show. I can see her now with the stars around her vanity in her bedroom, dumb bitch.

Merijn is gone back to Amsterdam for the week and will be back on Friday evening. I think we’ll be renting a car next weekend and going someplace. Not sure where yet but I’m really hoping the weather is nice so we can find a beach somewhere and go for a swim. Otherwise I’ll make them drive to a pool somewhere, I dunno why but I have this huge urge to swim this summer that I didn’t have in previous years.

Dutch TV has stooped to an alltime low. Do you remember this show from back in 1983? I do, I was still in Elementary school and this show scared the shit out of me! Remember, it was 1983, I was just a kid, what did I know?! Anyway, this show has just started playing on Dutch TV and is on MY TV as we speak. Funny, I don’t remember it being this lame… *Boggles* Actually I do remember, because it was this lame about two months ago when it also played on TV here. Good grief, I thought it was bad when they were showing old reruns of ALF but this is ridiculous!
