If you are friends with me on Facebook you’ve probably seen me talking about how much I wanted a Crumpler Singapore Sling. Well, I got one! After Christmas my hubby bought one for me and I’ve been so happy with it. It’s really comfortable and I love how it adjusts to allow you to wear the camera in different positions depending on what you are doing.
A while back I made myself a camera strap cover because I found the strap that came with the camera scratched my neck to bits. It was a bit too warm though as I’d put a fleece liner in it. I planned on making a lighter version but I never did get around to it. So I had that one on there for the last year and a half, it held up pretty well for a homemade jobbie.
Still, the Singapore Sling is exactly what I’ve bee looking for. I do wonder how it will be heat-wise in the summer with the padded neck strap but I don’t think it will be any worse than my homemade one.
Have you never seen the Singapore Sling in action? Check this out:
I’ve not tried it on a seriously long photo walk or trip somewhere, but from the times I have used it so far, I really love it. I give it a very enthusiastic two thumbs up!
Oh and on another topic, I if you look over ———–> there on my sidebar ————> I now have a widget that shows my latest Project 365 photos. I’m not sure I will bother to make a blog post for all of them so they’ll show up there, and on Flickr of course.
Great, another camera accessory I *need* to get–yesterday ;-)
I couldn’t even look at the sling because I was too distracted at how awesome you look!!!
Ooooh cool! I want one too..Im going to send Edwin the link so that he will get the hint a bit better..lol You look fabulous by the way : )
I’m glad you told us what a Crumpler Singapore Sling is. It sounded a little dirty before I knew what it is or maybe that just says more about me.
Aren’t you too married to be leaving dirty blog comments? :-D
