I went to see this movie today with friends. About 10 minutes into it I was wondering if I was going to be able to sit through the whole thing. I love psychological thrillers and horror movies but not when they go out of their way to be gorey.
I’m sure there are people who love the gore and would rave about this movie because it was so chalk full of it, but I’m just not one of them.
The movie was decent when it comes to the plot. Like the other Saw movies there were twists and turns that you weren’t expecting… in this one though, it was just drowned out by all the other crap.
I wish they’d kept it simple like in the first one.
Yeah i saw that too it was crap. Im suprised you didnt see the twist coming though. I’d say more but i don’t want to spoil it for others…well i kinda do..but i wont.
I’m sure I’ll watch this movie, only because I just have to see them all. I’m weird like that.
Thanks for the alert on all the gore. I’m not a super fan of gore either. I have been warned. :)
Thanks for this review. Even the first one I thought was a struggle, so I will deffinately stay away from III.
I haven’t seen any of the ‘Saw’ movies yet, and reading your review I’m not sure I’ll ever get around to it. For some reason in the past few years I’ve grown an aversion to violence…in particular of the blood and guts variety.
