FOAD Thursday – Writers Guild of America & American Idol (again)

Ok, enough is enough.   This ongoing strike of the Writers Guild of America has got to stop!  They are driving the viewers to desperate lengths, making us watch shows we might ordinarily avoid IF there was something better on to watch.   Not only that, but they canceled our Golden Globes! Bastards!

Ok, I’m not totally unsympathetic to their cause.  I think the writers are very important, I mean without them our shows wouldn’t even exist, but come onnnnnnn!!  Why won’t someone settle with them?  End it already! Give them whatever they want, then give them a pencil and some loose leaf and tell them to get their asses back to work!

I’ve even downloaded the first two episodes of American Idol.  Yeah, even after I said I wouldn’t, just for something to watch, and I don’t even enjoy it!   Neither does my friend Matt, so we have hatched a plan.
